DIY Community Projects Start Benefiting the Public

In the beginning it was just a dream, but now its a reality. Every week, 5 to 10 community members visit one of the DIY project demo gardens (Elites Group) to observe and learn agricultural skills from the participants. Members of the DIY Elites group have conducted two general community trainings so far, where over 30 people have been trained in farming skills such as soil management, pest control, etc. The aim is to support their community’s capacity in growing their own food under minimal resources, to fight hunger during this Covid19 period. The DIY Elites also sell their products to the community at subsidized prices, making their project not only self sustaining, but also beneficial to the community. Bravo Elites Group. #COVID19 is Real, Stay safe. To learn more about DIY visit http://www.komolearningcentres.org
